Echoes of ancient traditions
In each 'Casale' it is still possible to see the evidence of the family and community life of times gone by
such as the bread oven where bread would have been baked for the extended family, the wells for water and the aged fruit trees which the old locals remember for the sweetness of their fruits. These trees still growing in serene tranquillity amongst the ancient vineyards invoking a sense of the rich history of the region.
